I really like that pumpkins song from the Watchmen trailer hehe.

I dunno what it is lately but I've been hard up to find anything interesting to listen to. Scars on Broadway was kind of disapointing. I mean, its SOAD without Serj. I havent listened to his solo album yet so not sure if its the same situation for him. But even the song writing just seems rather dull and simplistic.

I am not even a huge Dragonforce fan so I am not sure why I gave their new album a shot. Its, well, more of the same. They need a little gloom to their sound or something, sometimes its just too anthemy for me. I'm not really impressed with the super fast riffs anymore either, unlike the first time I heard their last album.

I must be becoming hard to please because majority of new releases this year have been shit :x

"Living in the Sunlight, Loving in the Moonlight" by Tiny Tim. Can't help it, it's stuck in my head.

grabbed the new Slipknot album "All Hope is Gone" last night. I have never been a huge slipknot fan but I find them at least listenable. I enjoyed vermillion off their last album and find some of there better stuff is actually their more softer tunes. This one, like their last, has a good mix of hard and heavy and softer ballads. I am not entirely sure if its as good as their last, which I found to be their best, but its definetly not complete garbage (this is not taking into consideration the people who will hate it because they hate slipknot). Its not god gifts to music (which most slipknot fans will probably think it is ) but I find its nice to have something that doesnt bore me...at least for now >_>

I've got the new The Haunted album too but havent had the chance to listen. Please please PLEASE dont be utter garbage like the last few ones...

Got JUD's new album today. Yet have to listen into it, but its pretty powerfull, not like Chasing California or the Perfect Life, but still very good imo. I miss some negativity though that made their last records. Some of their slower stuff, still i highly recommend "Sufferboy"

Also listening to Khoma atm, thanks to Lrd. Kvlt's suggestion. "One last moment" has to be my fav. atm, pretty slow, dark and a sound of no hope. Love that.

I have avoided most metal releases over the last couple of years, but have found plenty of good alternative/indie rock, electronic, etc. material out there. Hardly been able to stop listening to Digitalism since last year.

Hahaha, give an update on how that went. I've been wary of The Haunted for a long time now, they have released a few lemons.

Checking out Elf and Rainbow, Ronnie James Dio's early work. Dio has seriously shined upon both ends of the musical spectrum.

I want an exception to the 5 post wait rule incase of low activity in here. Hope no one blames me, the webmaster, for going against his own sites/forums rules.

Manji, please dont ban me

I've been watching Dredg' Coachella coverage daily after nightshift along with a few beers to make me tired. Man, i realized how much i love Dredg for their beautiful sound. Everytime the last two songs (one is new and the following one is "Canyon behind her" tears come up. Not because i am sad, i just love these two tracks and that one before canyon behind her could turn into my fav. Dredg track ever. I hope they come out big with their next album, i wish them the greatest success, because they fuckin deserve it.
Going to see them thursday LIVE, finally!

Also, got all of JUD's early albums. I love them. JUD man! No one knows this ace band?

Plus, i love tbartels07 (YouTube). I listen to at least one of his Tool covers each day. If i have to choose between a lucky life with a wife i love and children, BUT no Tool, i'd go for Tool. With each day in my life i am able to learn new things, hearing new sounds thanks due to all the great instrument covers on youtube aswell. My enthusiasm for that band slowly frightens me.
This band will lead me from 2000, directly to my grave... and then.. i want Disposition/Reflection/Triad to be played there. or maybe only Disposition to not frighten away the oldies going to the funeral.

I am fucked up i know.

Grabbed the New Trivium album, Shogun...

I need to listen to it more but its not bad right now. I hear some metallica in them, be it the music or whats his faces talk like singing. Not sure if I like it more than Crusade yet...

Oh and I forgot to mention from last time...New The Haunted album is actually pretty good...I dont find it boring or repetitive, and actually like to listen to it over and over...so thats a good thing...
