- The Rolling Stones
- Killswitch Engage
- Dragonforce
- Zebrahead
- Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers

As of March 24th, I would have seen 4/5 of these in concert.

1) Rise Against - Let's rock and not stop until we can't breathe.
2) Sparta - I'll sing you a lullaby back into your memories, and forget time.
3) Bush - A mere handful of songs, but that handful weighs more than you'll ever know.
4) Anberlin - With a little bit of rock, and some clever words, We can decypher love.
5) BT - Call me the transporter. We're about to go on a ride outside of your mind.

No particular order.

*Verdena - Awesome Italian rock band
*36 Crazyfists - Since I've listened to them since middle school or early high school.
*La Quiete - Italian screamo. Excellent stuff.
*Sigur Rós - Icelandic post-rock/experimental group. They make for good mellow/sleepytime music.

The fifth one is a toss up for my mood, since I love a lot of bands.

This is very difficult for me, but i'll give it a try.

1) (now guess, lol) Tool. This band is by far my favourite band of all time. I started listening to them due to the BiohazardExtreme webmaster Rammy who's also austrian. That guy introduced me to Tool in 2001 when Lateralus came out. I learned to listen to their music which takes time. Over the years i created an unbelievable obsession and their music helped me in many difficult situations in my life. They inspire me alot. I think i made 70% of reH's layouts listening to Tool. The current one even gives a hint. I remember that day, i came home from some mates, completely stoned, sat down in front of the comp, listened to Tool and all of a sudden i felt like i was sober again and i created the main layout in a trance. Some of you might remember the first "thirdeye06" layout which was really unique in terms of placement of things. Now its reduced like all sites, simply because you cannot experiment too much with old, established sites.
Back to Tool. I've seen them live only two times, that was last year in düsseldorf and münchen. It was another new experience for me to see this music i listened on my stereo over the years performed live with that amazing video shows. I remember the München gig, where smoking was not allowed (and i am a heavy smoker) and we where standing near the front, maybe 6th row or so and we all wanted beer, but to get it we would have to give up our great place, since the guys near the front area entrance didnt let anyone in again when going out. So i watched 1 hour mastodon, 2 hours Tool completely sober. Not even smoking a cigarette, but i completely forgot about it and still it was amazing and insane. Enough about that now.

2) Now it gets really difficult, the next bands are in no specific order. A band i spent alot time with is Radiohead. They also inspired me and my life alot. Also, i love bands who progress, advance in their music and not repeat the same all over again. The step Radiohead made from The Bends to Ok Computer cannot be put in words i guess. And still they did it again from ok comp to Kid A. Sadly i have never seen them live, but i watched alot of live videos. I mostly listen to Radiohead in winter, to think about things and enjoy the dramatic power of their emotional music.

Hm, what now.. Dredg? Isis, Neurosis? Guess i pick Dredg since i also listen to them since years now. I remember one period in my life where i had this great book by Georgio Falletti and i read every day. I think my computer was broke at that time and i had to find other things to do before going to bed. And everytime i started reading i listened to Dredg's El Cielo and somehow, that book togheter with El Cielo developed such an intense feeling that i often had wet eyes when reading. What an amazing feeling. I however must say that they dissapointed me with Catch without arms. Its not that complex than previous albums, and yeah, due to my love for Tool i developed a special ear for music i think. When i listen to an album once and with the second or third run through you do not experience new feelings then its a bad album for me and i stop listening to it. That was the case with CWA, still i regularly listen to Leitmotiv and El Cielo.

Ok.. it gets more difficult with every band i mention, but i guess i will go on mentioning the bands that influenced or shaped me.

(10 minutes later) *still looking through records*

It gets difficult now since the next bands have some albums in their band history i really do not enjoy. So here comes some great albums list.

- Amplifier - Amplifier
- Depeche Mode - Songs of Faith and Devotion
- Meshuggah - Catch 33
- Machine Head - The Blackening
- Mastodon - Blood Mountain
- Isis - In the absence of truth
- Neurosis - Given to the rising
- Muse (oh yeah, thats one band that can sound commercial and i still like it, have you seen them live? Then you know what i mean)
Actually, muse should go up a bit, since i listened to all their albums. Their earlier albums where the best though, still i can listen to newer stuff too.
- Incubus - SCIENCE
- Incubus - Morning View
- Kings of Leon (all albums)
- Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral
- Explosions in the Sky - All of a sudden i miss everyone (A band i will watch closely, no singing, still amazing built up of sound.
- Opeth - Damnation
- Oceansize - Effloresce
- Pink Floyd - The Piper at the gates of Dawn
- System of a Down - System of a Down
- System of a Down - Toxicity (after that i gave up on SOAD completely. i dont like daron malakian, he destroyed the band. How can they let this freak sing songs honestly.. )
- Sparta - Threes
- The Strokes - First impressions of earth
- A Perfect Circle - Mer de Noms
- A Perfect circle - Thirteenth step.

pfff. guess these things are the most important for me, but its only about 30% of my music collection.

Now i recognise that i went far off topic.

1 & 2 - Guns N' Roses & Skid Row - saw their concert on Friday and it was fucking amazing. Definitely worth every dollar.
3 - Motley Crue
4 - Van Halen
5 - ACDC

There's so many more but these 5 would have to be my favourite. As you can see, I'm quite the 80's rock fan.

1st.Killswitch engage
ive loved them since i got into there album the end of heartache, where i first heard that song on the resident evil:Apocalypse soundtrack,
my favorite song is Rose of sharyn,
that song for me has simple and inspirational lyrics

2nd.Pantera
i got into them before i officaily liked metal and rock but didnt know them till i searched for walk on limewire,
it was the first song i liked because of the hard beat to it,and i was a wrestling fan at the time so they used some hard music to make videos haha

3rd.Shadow's Fall.i saw them on ozzfest 05 but didnt know them at the time
but then i got into there hit In effigy off there album fallout from the war

4th.Blood Has Been Shed
i got into them through the killswitch engage dvd set the world ablaze.
i love there extreme style of hardcore,id say in a matter of what sound i like that they would be my second fave but i gotta give pantera my respects for getting me into metaland rock....

5th.soilwork
i love there hard and melody mix with there music
they too are a band i wasnt into when i saw em on ozzfest 05...
