Over the years, I and a select few of us, have watched a relatively fringe community, an offshoot area and hang-out, discussion refuge and an internet surrogate home called reHorror Forums grow from a group of hardcore, philosophical Resident Evil debaters grow into a steady, prosperous community with members from a broad range of people from different nationalities and walks of life.
And with the Resident Evil series entering further into the mainstream, whether that be because of the people's connection to the movie, with a curiosity to know more or because of the more action-oriented, newer Resident Evils, with newcomers to the games who want to have a connection with the previous games, our community continues to grow into a juggernaut of diehards and theorists discussing our mutual adoration of the Resident Evil videogames. However, there is room for improvement and, of course, more members.
This is where you come in. You visit these forums and I assume you know how to navigate the internet. I also assume that you have other interests, and you navigate the internet to satisfy these interests, and, as evident by your presence here, you probably frequent other communities.
Other communities with members that may also enjoy playing and discussing the Resident Evil games. An aspect, a small one but an aspect nonetheless, of most forums are signatures. You can embrace your calling and membership of this forum by drawing other people to it, expanding our community into something greater than it already is.
So if you, all of you who frequent other forums could put a mention of the reHorror forums in your signatures, such as this:
Code:
[url="http://www.rehforums.com/"]Resident Evil Horror Forums - A Grand Community For The Fans of Resident Evil[ /URL]
...into your signatures (minus the space in the end URL wrap, forums may also use <> instead of [] as well) in other forums (barred it doesn't break the forum's existing rules) you can help make our great community mightier.
You have the power.
