- No Flaming.
- No Trolling.
- No Pornography or Hentai etc.
- Watch the amount of cursing you apply, keep it limited.
- Treat other members with respect.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

:: ETHICS ::

reH Community:

[The board is a not a right, but an offer (a privilege). By coming here, and posting you have already accepted our principles, rules and ethics. Remember to respect that and you should be fine. And also remember that the rules can be altered or updated at any time (with or without notice). It is your responsibility as a member to keep track of current updates.]

Members:

[Don't threaten other members. Respect each other and try keeping the board clean of spam. Don't insult or provoke other members. Above all respect the rules and the staff that enforce them. Everyone here is equal, the rules apply to everyone. Administrators' verdicts are final. Only one account pr. Member. NO MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS.]

Trolling:

Quote:
[Trolls are utterly impervious to criticism (constructive or otherwise). You cannot negotiate with them; you cannot cause them to feel shame or compassion; you cannot reason with them. They cannot be made to feel remorse. For some reason, trolls do not feel they are bound by the rules of courtesy or social responsibility.]
[NO TROLLING.]

Flaming:

[Insulting criticism or remarks meant to incite anger. We do not tolerate flaming on the board. Be it because of an argument or not, take it else where then on the board. If you can't accept that then this isn't the place for you.]

Discrimination:

[Any form of discrimination on the board is not tolerated and will be met with hard force. No racism, sexism, xenophobia, etc.]

Spam and cursing:

[Spam is the equivalent of junk. Spamming; meaningless banter which turns into pointless posts without content. We allow cursing as long as it is limited and not aimed at anyone (see discrimination, flaming and trolling above).]

Pornography:

[Pornographic material isn't allowed on the board. Not in avatars or signatures either.]

Emoticons and Caps Lock:

[Emoticons, exists today for many reasons; one of them might be to show humour, irony (sarcasm) or even to spread joy. However, excessive use is unnecessary and just plain annoying. Same goes for Caps Lock. The general understanding would be shouting or screaming. So keep it limited.]

Posting and editing:

[Don't double post, use the edit button. Glitches on the board may happen and your post might get posted twice.]

Stay on topic:

[Topics and discussions shall be placed in the most appropriate forum. Threads started in the wrong forum will be moved (with or without notice) and off-topic threads or otherwise useless threads will be either moved or closed.]

Prohibited topics:

[VS. (Versus) threads, Person above you threads, What/Who is the best threads, and so on, are not allowed on the board.]

PM = Private Messages:

[The private messages feature is an independent function. Meaning in general, that the rules that are enforced for the board, is not restricted to private messages. However, we do condemn harassment or other forms of aggression in this matter. It is up to the individual member to choose (survey) their own situation and outcome.]

------------------------------------------------------------------------

:: PROFILE RELATED ::

- Maximum signature size: 400x130 pixels.
- Maximum avatar size: 150x150 pixels.
- Have decent avatars/signatures/member titles with no offensive remarks in it.
- Animated signatures are not allowed.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

:: OTHER ::

- Don't threaten other members with viruses, hacking, violence, etc.
- Don't call the Moderators/Admins Nazis.
- Only one account pr. Member. NO MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS.
- Admins verdicts are final.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

:: QUICK QUESTION ::

In a bid to cut down the amount of "useless" topics on the forum we have introduced the "Quick Question" topic(s). If you have a question that can be answered quickly (or you think it can) then it should go into the 'Quick Question' topic in the relevant forum. You should not create a new topic for your question if it fills the criteria of the 'Quick Question' topic.

Quick Question Rules:

1.) If you have a question that doesn't really deserve its own topic then it should be asked in "Quick Question" but must be relevant within the context of the forum (for example don't post a quick question on S.D Perry's Novels in Viral Research's Quick Question).

2.) Once the person has asked a question there may be a further five posts in "Quick Question" related to that question.

Example:

Person asks question.
Someone answers but not clearly so the questioner is unsure.
Questioner asks for clarification.
Answerer/Someone else answers better.
Etc.

More than 5 posts on one question means that it should either go to (PM) to solve, or should be given it's own topic. Decide which is most appropriate.

General: Administrators and Super Moderators can hand out Infractions/Warnings. These are given out based on the standards above. With Infractions (Red) you get points. Get enough points, (depending on the situation and the level of Infraction) will result in a ban (temporary or permanent).

Most levels of Infraction have a expire date, only a few are permanent. When the expire date has reached 0 it will reset your points. However, it will not be removed from your profile/account (for future references).

Warnings (Yellow) don't count as points. And all Warnings have a expire date, however if you get too many Warnings, they will be turned into Infractions (resulting in points).
