This is a discussion on Man, I'm bitter V.2 within the Bar forums, part of the Reception Desk category:
Google made a major change to Adsense, while good for the internet, its very bad for us publishers.
AdSense Introduces New Ad Format - Daily Blogging Tips and Web 2.0 ...
here's a link, it happened two weeks ago, first people thought its just testing, but it remains that way. sure its a good thing for surfers, since accidental clicks are gone, but all publishers now see less clicks and less revenue. In some cases (mine too) revenue dropped more than 50%. Google thinks advertisers will pay more for a click in the future, until that happens other income sources have to be added, i am sorry.
This sucks major ass as i planned so many investitions in 2008.
Due to this, i am forced to go into affiliate marketing again if i want to cover the google income loss. You dont want to know what i was promoting this week, its hilarious, boring and sometimes very frustrating, bibles.., weather toolbars, letter from santa... oh well.
its like poker but with way more money in the pot. and i dont like poker very much.
I hit a rabbit a few minutes ago. I was sobbing from then on until I got in the house. I've never hit anything before, I mean, I've seen dead things in the road and seen other people hit things, but I've personally never done it. I didn't think I'd care so much until now. Please tell me this is just a first-time thing, and I won't be sobbing every time I hit something. I hope I'm not just 'some freak who cries over a stupid rabbit'.
Anyone else ever done the same?
I haven't hit anything myself but I was on the passenger side when my brother knocked down a dog (on my side of the car).
It's more likely to be the shock of the fact that you actually hit something as opposed to feeling sad about what you actually hit. I doubt you'll have the same reaction next time (if there is one) unless it's a person

Dear America,
Please make original films and/or TV series' again. I'm sure you still have creativity left in you somewhere.
I positively loathe my public speaking teacher. He's not only the biggest prick in the world, but one of the most difficult teachers I've ever had.
I went 30 seconds over the time limit in one of my speeches. He was going to give me an automatic F. Um, what? A letter grade I can understand, but a straight F. What's the point of doing the speeches if he gives you an automatic F for something as stupid as going over the time length?
I swear to god if I get a low grade in this class, I'm reporting his ass to the president of the university. It's not only me, it's the entire class that will follow pursuit. I really just can't wait until this semester is over.

EDIT : More bitterness. Woo!
- Every bank in town closes at 1pm on Saturdays except, it seems, my bank which closes at 12:30. Pisses me off when I was there for 12:35 and I wanted to get money out for a 360 and to pay for my NYC holiday.
They've only just started doing this recently too as I went 2 weeks ago and they still closed at 1.
Bah, a number of things have been pissing me off here lately...
For starters, I placed an order with BestBuy.com and somehow managed to send my packages to my old school mailbox instead of my regular address. Seriously, I don't even know how it happened because I swear I remember checking my new address, and saying I wanted it shipped there. Whatever. If I can't managed to get my items from the school mail system, BestBuy.com can refund my money or send me replacements because I am 99% sure this was not my fault. I know I typed in my new address and checked the appropriate boxes.
Work again is annoying me. I have a hectic week next week with exams/projects/et cetera, so what does work take this to mean..."Oh, he can work more than normal...Let's schedule him for 38 hours..." The reason I think this happened is because work is supposedly going to be fined soon if they do not use more hours. Yeah, I know, that sounds odd, and it didn't make sense to me either...I thought places wanted to save on payroll, but evidently not.
Exams/Projects/Et cetera...I don't really need to even go into this. Those of you in school or that went know how much fun all this can be.
Apparently gamespots lead editor was fired for giving "Kane and Lynch" a score of 6 and a negative review, even though KaL were massively advertised on the site.
I knew the game was awful ever since I saw the first gameplay video.
The amusing thing in this messed up situation is, that Zelda fanbois are wooting their butts off because they still cant get over the fact that the same reviewer gave the game an 8.9 score. Haha,...
