Default I Need Movies

I have been buying tons of DVDs lately, a good 90% of them being of the cheesy horror variety. Not the REALLY chessy stuff - more so Bottom Feeders, Rest Stop, It Waits, Death Row, Flight of the Living Dead etc.

But I am slowly running out of movie titles, at least the ones I can remember. Can anyone recommend any good cheesy horror films?

I really like monster films (Frankenfish, Lake Placid), slashers (Hatchet) and the 'unlucky tourists' type (Rest Stop, Turistas), just as long as it is watchable.

Undead and Versus are the be-all, end-all of cheesy.

What could be better than a 20-something Japanese man in a wig playing a middle-aged, white, Texan detective?

Well, there's the Nightmare on Elm Street series. There's two boxsets out right now. The Infinifilm one and the standard eight disk boxset, but either one is good. Both are reasonably priced ranging from 20-40 dollars. You get all seven films excluding Freddy vs. Jason, but it's a great set with loads of extras.

Then there's the Evil Dead series. There's a complete boxset for ED1 for about 30-40 bucks, but its great to have. They may or may not come out with a special EV2 or Army of Darkness with the copyright problems. But you can still pick up the 2nd and 3rd for like 5-9 bucks a piece. They're just pretty bare bones when it comes to extras with only commentary I believe.

The original asian horrors like Ringu and the Grudge are good as well. I hear the Host is pretty decent.

Can't think of any more at the moment. Hope this sparks your interest though.

Undead was fucking hilarious. I loved it.

Teeth was funny too. <It's about Vagina Dentate> You have to see it to believe it.

It's about a chick with teeth, well, you know.

The whole scary va-jay-jay thing is very Lovecraftian so it's bound to be awesome.

I should talk to my bro as he'll rape this topic. He has an obscene collection of bad horror movies.

Demonic Toys is pretty cheesy as is Funnyman.

If you want to see a REALLY cheesy horror movie, I suggest Nikos the Impaler. Cheesiest movie I've ever seen It's about a medieval killer that is somehow resurrected. With his magic powers he also summons a zombie, Hitler, a vampire and two ninja's to aid him

The trailer can be seen on youtube.
