After the end of World War III, the world was united as one nation. Peace claimed the Earth, and all of humanity discarded their weapons, and declared to study war, nevermore. Seven men took the reigns, each leading over a portion of the world. They call themselves BEAST. Mankind no longer labors. The machines that once graced the battlefield are now used in factories, and business establishments. Everything from automobile manufacturing, to fast food is now 100% automated. Each individual has been "chipped" with an identity, and a number. The Patriots keep watch on everyones activities 24/7. There are still those who, even in perfect peace, choose to act in violence. They are rooted out immediately. Anyone who refuses to conform is executed without discussion.
My name is Jack Jaeger. I was once a soldier. Loyal to the end, to my purpose. The purpose of my leaders, never questioning my orders. A programmed machine with a heart of steal, assigned to a mission, and intent on carrying it out no matter what stands in the way. I dont remember much about that life. Only bits and pieces that come to me in the night.
My last mission was two years ago. My unit had received information regarding a Patriot base in Brazil. The source was odd, and the whole thing stank, but I guess wed all been in the heat too long. Besides, we were just following orders.
It was there that we captured by Patriot officers, and confined to a holding cell without food, and only the water dripping from a loose pipe for three days. Not a moment too soon, we were rescued by our sister squad who had been ordered to search for us if contact was lost. It was then they told me the war was over.
Today, Im merely a survivor. The world created men like me. We were born and bred for one purpose. To fight. But now the war is over, and weve been marked unfit for society. Warriors like me, as well as others who simply refused to bow down to the establishment of BEAST, now live underground. Many of the young have never seen sunlight. We sneak onto the surface during the night to gather food and supplies.
A complex and vast system of tunnels connecting several underground facilities constructed by the Patriots before the war. This is our home.
But this cant go on forever. Peace is a beautiful dream for some, and a nightmare of empty existence for others. But either side you stand, chaos is an inevitable fate. This serenity that theyve built for themselves wont last forever.

Specialties: Capable with all types of military and civilian firearms, but not his weapon of choice. Extremely efficient with combat knife (was nicknamed the Shredder by his former commander of the DRAGON Unit during the war). Jack has a "lucky" knife that he always keeps on his person. He calls the knife, "Fury".
All who are interested, I decided to start an RPG based within the Metal Gear universe. The story begins about 2 years after the Metal Gear War, and will follow the paths of underground survivors who have refused to conform to societies new establishment. They are soldiers, medics, technicians, as well as civilians.
Need 3-4 members to get started. Include your characters name, age, special skills, and any other information youd like to include.
