I share your grief brother, but if you look at RPGs from a broader perspective, they are dead in almost all (if not all altogether) RE sites. Lack of new material, lack of new blood and lack of RE love has driven most RE sites into dust.

Weve tried to hook one or few up during the past couple of years, but to be honest, it isnt as fun as it used to be.

As I imagined, tis a disappointment. I recall a "Team Biohazard" RPG group that I was in, Umbrella Special Forces. That kinda died down and was I believe my reason for leaving the site in the first place. What a damn shame.

Holy Hell really that long ago. I just bought a used gamecube and started playing my old RE games, wow, completely did not realize how long its been.

Team Biohazard kind of moved on with Wesker Chick to Evil Unleashed [v.2] - Your Source For Survival Horror, but from what Ive seen, it died off even there.

I agree with everything thats been said above. I'm an avvid Resident Evil rper and have been doing it since early 2001. There use to be a large community for it and many web sites in forums. Over the years I've watched my rather large buddy list on Yahoo dwindle down two or three people who come online every once in a blue moon. When I stumbled across this forum the first thing I noticed was that it was active. I can count on one hand the number of active RE sites I've come across in hours of looking and this one looked great and well kept. I assumed upon joining that there would be a section for rping (because all RE forums have them) and was dissapointed to find out there wasn't.

The only place I can find any kind of RE rping is over at RE Labs where they have a bunch of one liners which would be a disgrace for me to rp with.

Are there people interested in rping on here?

Id say "it depends". There are a number of people who would be interested in creative writing and if you come forth with a good idea, they will cling to it. But you have to accept that the number of these people is around ~5.

Aahhh... RPing... this topic forces away cobwebs from memories in my mind..

I originally come from Smash World Forums, they were the first ever of which I was a member.. I have many fond memories of the RPG room there.

But enough about that, I'd be greatly interested in joining your RP, Florida.. assuming you ever come online again, or assuming you're serious.. I may even try to stir up a want for them again. If a good idea for one is what you fearfull about not finding, I may be of help... My bf and I have been planning out an RE fanfic for the past two years now. XD The reason for the excessively long planning stage is because we are both experienced story writers, and it was in this fashion that I realised when it comes to story and plotholes, Resident Evil = Swiss Cheese. XD So I can say with pride (and for the sake of sounding extremely full of myself) that when it comes to finding solutions for story problems, I'm who to call..

If anyone in this thread who reads this message is infact interested in starting one up again, PM me or find my messenger and just randomly add me. I'm dead serious, RPGs must return to this place...
