Funniest Moment: I was playing Biohazard Director's cut and had gotten really far into the game. I got back into the Mansion after the Guardhouse chapter, only to find packs of monstrous Hunter's headhunting me. Literully.

I was in the small room that originally has a greencoat Zombie on the floor, the room next to it is the one where you unlock special outfits.

Well, some of you may remember there's herb's in that room and I was in Danger mode as Jill. Did I mention there's a Hunter about 2 feet away from me?

So I bend down to grab the green herb, only for the Hunter to play "Nik-nak, smack a twat, give the Beast a head". Yup, it lopped my head clean off as I was in my crouched position. So Jill was just crouched there, hand touching herb, blood spurting about and head rolling around the room like a fuckin' basketball. I almost had it, those Hunter's are sneaky S.O.B.'s.

Nemesis by far, just him chasing you is on top of the list for me. Also a couple of jump moments and the creepy enviroment. Has nothing on The Suffering series ... but still pretty good.

during my very first time playing Re2. I`m a little embarrassed to say this but
considering how young i was, i`m sure i`m not alone. It was the the crash site
at the beginning of the game, yep... right after the crash i got swarmed by the
zombies in the area and died. I got so scared that i put the game away for two
years before playing it again...

Also while i`m here i would like to ask everyone's funniest experiences,
i don`t want to create another topic because the two are similar.

My funniest experience also occurred with Re2, i was playing through
the police department when my brother came into my room and sat
down to watch, we were talking and he poked fun at me for being
scared of the game for so long. He said that games couldn't be scary,
well i was exploring the interview room when suddenly a licker jumped
through the two way mirror, i saw my brother jump clear off the bed.
I had to pause the game i was laughing so hard.
lol, i remember with re2 the first time i couldnt even play it because it was soo scary. I let my mate play it while i watched lol, so funny how stupid that is but when youre young youre easily scared i guess. I then remember buying re3 and actually returning it because it was too scary but then buying it again 1 month later. Now i dont think any game could scare me, and i mean any game. I've played doom3, fear etc and none scared me or made me jump.

My first Resident Evil was RE2 as well, but it merely startled me every once in a while. The stationary camera angle wasn't really enough to scare me, since you start to always expect something.
My scariest moment was mostly in suspence during the Krauser knife fight. Even now, on the GCN or PS2 versions, I get anxious as to which buttons to press, so I usually end up dieing at least once (this solve in the Wii version, where you can just shake the Wiimote and press A+B at the same time with no worries). After that would be the Salizar or Mendez battles, before I learned the audio/visual commands that let you know what attack they're using (since they both have instant kill attacks).

Most of my scary moments have been from RE2, since that was my first RE too. ;x

- The zombie arms through the windows. Even now, that gets to me a little.

- Near the end of the RPD portion of the game, it always creeped me out when you take a step into the library and it cuts to the zombies busting through the windows.

- I'm not sure which scenario it is, but you know the tunnel that gets swarmed with cockroaches when you go through? I used to dread trying to get Sherry through that damn thing. >_>

Which is why I enjoyed RE2 more than RE3. I couldn't even stop to take a breather. Oh and probably that bitch Lisa Trevor. STOP FOLLOWING ME! lolz

The first zombie in the first game.
I was 13, it was late 1997. Even just leaving the dining room to enter the long corridor was too much for me.
To this day I've still never completed the first game. Back when I was a kid it was too scary, now that I have it here on the PC it's not scary enough. I replayed it earlier this year and lost interest when I was using the M.O. discs for something or other.

REmake scares the bejesus outta me and I've been 'stuck' at it for months now, still only a couple of hours in. Fitting really, sicne I never got through the original.

First re game for the ps the first zombie scared me because I did not think it would take so many bullets. I just wanted that thing to die.

In the REmake when u make it to the first save point. I was walking up those stairs when I saw something move i stopped for 10 minutes to see what moved from that. Window i even tried to shoot out of the window. It freaked me out

- Hearing Nemesis's theme but not seeing him on screen, I always end up running to the nearest door, even if it's the one I just came out of.

- Licker that jumps out of the Two way mirror in RE2, I always forget about it and it's just so unexpected.

- REmake as a entirety, especially the crimson heads getting up when you're not even paying attention to the bodies.
