The movies blew, they sucked and they stunk. End of story. Their only success was in the box office. If youre a 13 year old boy who loves low-IQ crap like that, then great. Personally, they are a cinematical disaster and when it comes to being a videogame movie, they are just as bad as Bolls crap.

I think Paul tried to redeem himself in the second movie by including some of the characters from the game, but that didn't turn out so well. Smoking and swearing Jill away!

MOS, you nailed it to a T.

I can't believe they're considering making a fourth. I can see it now: Alice will kung-fu her way into the Umbrella base, kill Wesker just by looking at him, do the macerena, and shoot laser beams out of her ass all at the same time.

The first was decent and that's pushing it there. The rest he basically turned everyone into second rate characters and made them more "badass" than what their original personas were like.

Ugh, not a happy day.

ok look at it this way. if you didn't know anything about the game would think the movies were bad because my friends that thought the movies were excellent not even got through resident evil 2 without soiling their !@@!# pants.

so maybe that's a reason why so many ppl think the movies were good.

The first movie was ok. It wasn't until they started using characters from the games and all this superhuman crap with alice. I don't care what character you include from the games, the new movie will not do the resident evil name justice.

I agree with you on that. I mean wtf was up with all of alice's powers? That was just a desperate last attempt on their part. I still found parts of RE: A entertaining.

Actually the only film that could compete with RE in a "worst film of all time" competition is probably Mel Gibson's The Patriot enough said.

i think when they make the fourth movie that jill should be in alaska where she meets up with the others in the helicopter. or maybe in tokyo to help alice with umbrella.

i think the movies were still really good even though they were nothing like the games, in my opinion Resident Evil: Apocolypse is probably one of the best movies i have ever seen.
