You'll have to read the novel if you want to know what happened to Jill. They also explain what happens to Angie as well.

As far as why she wasn't in the movie, Sienna Guillory wasn't available to do the role. She was too busy filming Eragon at the time.

However it probably wouldn't have been much of a hassle just getting someone else to play her role, or better yet at least mention what happened to the character rather than just taking her out completely.

She ran away after appearing in that mess known as Resident Evil: Apocalypse.

I really didn't care that she wasn't in the 3rd film, but since Paulie boy is working on a 4th film in the series, it might give some closure to the people who liked the movies if she made an appearance.

I hope not. Even though the last film sucked, it had no choice since it included all that wild west crap and stuff.

However I would love another movie and I'm sure there will be since alice says she is coming after umbrella, namely wesker.

Maybe it'll be based after the russian umbrella labs in chronicles,a nd maybe we'll get an appearance from Chris Redfield!

Check out the reHorror Home Page. Seems Paul spilled to MTV that he is in the very EARLY stages of planning another movie. I have a feeling that Sony will approve the film since the last 3 flicks did very well in terms of money grossed.

I can't believe how ignorant this guy can be. He must know that the films are critically hated, and that the majority of the RE fans dislike the films. But he probably has dollar signs over his eye balls now. If he is the fan he claims to be, do the rest of us a favor by staying away from Resident Evil and go ruin some other video game series. Oh wait, he's doing Castlevannia next.

Hey I enjoyed the movies. Though the last one, not much.

Give him a chance to redeem himself

He had 3 movies to redeem himself and he has terribly failed each time. The 1st movie was his best work but even that wasnt great and didnt in anyway represent what resident evil was.

You can't possibly put all that is in a game into a 1 and 1/2 hour movie.

You have to remember that these arent the video games. It's somewhat of a new storyline, incorporating old settings and characters.

Personally, I enjoyed the 2nd movie the most.

I didnt say put all the games into a movie. The movies dont even follow the genre of the games, SURVIVAL HORROR. Being scared, against all the odds with little ammo and no action magical moves *cough* alice *cough*. The only resemblence of resident evil are the zombies, the T-virus and the characters.
